Quality controls are carried out at three stages; before actual fieldwork commences, while fieldwork is in progress and finally after interviews have been completed.

In order to ensure that high quality data is collected, three standard quality control mechanisms are adopted on all projects:

Accompaniments of interviewers, On Spot Checks of interviewers, Back checks of completed interviews.

Aside the physical quality control mechanism implemented by our field staff, we also have in-built quality checks in all our mobile phone script.

These include:

GPS Location Tracking - know where interviews took place

Silent voice recording - know how questions were asked

Auto-flag suspicious Interviews - based on duration

Complex survey logic i.e branching, skipping, filtering, looping and piping of questions and responses for consistency checks.
